Travelling with your CPAP
It is possible to travel with your CPAP device, but you should first observe a few precautions. If you are travelling by plane, do NOT check in your equipment. Use a copy of your prescription to show that your CPAP is a medical device and is to be carried on as hand luggage. Contact your airline in advance to check if any special conditions apply.
Check the acceptable currents on the back of the device or contact your LISA® specialist. Your CPAP is generally equipped with a universal electrical power supply that allows it to operate in different countries. It can operate with currents of 110 - 250 V and 50 - 60 Hz. However, it may be necessary to use an electrical adapter. Before travelling, ask for a certificate of treatment to facilitate border crossings.
