Sneezing, runny or blocked nose
You may suffer from sneezing and/or a runny or blocked nose during the first weeks of treatment. In many cases, this feeling disappears after a few days, and nasal irritation can be eliminated by using a humidifier. Contact your physician for further details if these symptoms persist.
If the mask does not fit properly, a wound may develop on the bridge of the nose. Consult your physician or your LISA® specialist straight away if this occurs.
This occurs mainly in the morning with watering eyes, itching and redness, and may be caused by a mask that has not been properly adjusted, leading to some leakage. Check the tilt of the mask and the tension of the head strap. If the problem persists, contact your LISA® specialist for advice.
Appearance of obvious mask marks on your face
The mask applied to your face may cause deep marks on your skin. Try loosening the tension of the harness slightly.
